Category 1 accreditation is awarded to organisations that operate their own fully compliant monitoring centre. Firstly, with audited systems, defined operating procedures, and trained monitoring personnel in place. Secondly, maintaining this status demonstrates that our monitoring operation meets recognised industry requirements for system resilience, alarm handling, incident verification, and escalation.
The accreditation provides clear reassurance for our customers. Meaning that their sites are monitored by a trusted, independently assessed provider operating to the highest industry standards. Also confirming that alarms are handled consistently and professionally. Also displaying clear processes are in place to support rapid and effective responses when incidents occur.
Holding CAT 1 accreditation also enables us to support a broader range of customers. These include those operating in regulated or high-risk environments where accredited monitoring is a requirement. Allowing our customers to deploy security solutions with confidence. While knowing their monitoring partner is fully compliant and capable of meeting both operational and regulatory expectations.
