An Exclusive Event at MIPIM UK

London Olympia, October 19th 8.30am

Polar expedition leader and world record holder Jason de Carteret will talk about his amazing record breaking adventure to the South Pole next Thursday at MIPIM UK, the largest property event for professionals, held at London’s Olympia.

Used to surviving in challenging environments, Jason's journey took him to the end of the earth where ensuring the most effective and efficient combinations of technology and people was a matter of life or death.

Jason is now VPS’ Group Products Sales Director, helping VPS customers manage their most remote and challenging vacant properties.

Places are limited, and are by invitation only, via enquiries to marketing@vpsgroup.com

More about Jason de Carteret:

Along with two companions in 2011, Jason de Carteret drove a modified Toyota Tacoma overland from Patriot Hills to the South Pole, a distance of over 1,000 kilometres (620 miles), in a world record time of less than forty hours – over twenty-nine hours quicker than the record time he had set previously. He has also travelled to both Poles by skiing.

Jason also took part in the Ice Challenger Expedition in 2005. A six-man team used a specially designed six-wheel drive vehicle to cover about 1,000 miles. Completing the journey from the Antarctic coast at Patriot Hills to the South Pole in 69 hours, they arrived on 12 December 2005. The expedition hoped to show that wheeled transport on the continent is possible and practical, and to increase awareness about global warming.

Jason de Carteret is VPS’ Group Product Sales Director.

MIPIM UK is the largest domestic exhibition and conference for property professionals, providing a marketplace for UK players and international investors to meet, discuss projects and opportunities and to do business. The two-day event takes place at Olympia from 18th-19th October 2017.
