VPS Group announces new Chief Executive Officer

VPS Group (“VPS”), the UK market leader in the protection of people, property and assets on a temporary and emergency basis, today announces that Lee Newman has been appointed as the Company’s new Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Lee is replacing David Taylor-Smith, who is taking up the role of Group CEO at PHS Group, a leading provider of workplace services. David will remain as an advisor to the VPS Board.

Lee has held a number of senior leadership positions in large services companies. Most recently, holding the role of CEO of Elliott Group, the UK’s leading provider re-locatable buildings. Before that, Lee was Managing Director at FTSE100-listed Ferguson (then Wolseley), where he ran the largest distribution business in the heating and cooling products industry. Prior to this, Lee was UK Managing Director and then Group Operations Director at HSS Hire, the UK & Ireland's national supplier of equipment and tool hire.

Lee will join VPS on 12^th March 2018.
