THE VACANT PROPERTY SPECIALIST CHOOSES SOUTH YORKSHIRE
-New regional hub key for expansion-
VPS, the Vacant Property Specialist, has today announced that it is continuing its ambitious expansion plans by opening a new depot in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
The new depot, located in the village of Goldthorpe, will help VPS meet the increasing opportunities to act as a trusted adviser and resource across the UK.
VPS works with a wide range of customers and industry sectors to help secure, maintain and manage vacant properties in order to mitigate risks associated with the complete vacant property lifecycle. VPS also provides a host of solutions to protect and manage vacant properties post administration or receivership.
The new depot will act as a regional hub for the VPS team, enabling the company to provide a full range of first class services to customers based across the country. The new facility will also allow the VPS team to offer faster reaction times, something which is critical when vacant property is affecting over half of property owners and managers in the UK.
Nick Tubbs, UK Managing Director of VPS, said: “The new depot represents an important era for the company at a time where a spate of retail closures, a sharp rise in scrap metal theft and an increase in squatters and trespassers continue to threaten vacant UK properties. Our extensive range of services provide customers with the peace of mind that their site is safe and secure, and most importantly value is retained without incurring additional costs.”
