Joanne Bacon, HR Director VPS Group
Joanne is the VPS Group HR Director and is responsible for the Group’s HR strategy to support VPS’ international growth, including building a strong internal brand and the Group’s Health & Safety strategy.
Prior to her appointment at VPS in 2011, she held similar roles at MITIE Group plc (a FTSE 250 company) for two years and Capita Group plc (a FTSE 100 company) for 11 years. Joanne brings over 20 years’ HR experience to the Group, and has considerable expertise in working with highly entrepreneurial organisations, as well as plcs and private companies. She has significant experience in growing and integrating companies via acquisition and TUPE transfers, and also boasts an impressive track record within industrial and employee relations.
